Luther Photographers was established in 1936 at Raja Bazaar, Rawalpindi in present day Pakistan. The firm got a good business in that area and the people considered us to be family of Martin Luther.

After partition of India in 1947, the family settled in Jalandhar, Punjab and the business flourished in the entire Doaba region. 

The contribution of Luther Photographers in Wedding Photography and Cinematography is remarkable and commendable as the firm is now covering the weddings of the 4th Generation of the same families for which it delivered quality output  for the prior three generations. And we are still counting!!

Besides being the Wedding Photographers and Cinematographers, we are known for our quality Portfolio skills and working with Educational Institutions. 

Actor Dharmendra got his first portfolio from Late Sh. Kharaiti Lal Luther Ji ( Father of the present heads of Luther Photographers). 

Other renowned personalities who have been our regular customers include Late Sh. Jagjit Singh, Sh. Dara Singh, Sh. Yash Chopra, Sh. B.R. Chopra, Lala Jagat Narian and now their families as well.

A new venture was then opened in 1981 opposite Dav College, Jalandhar (present day place) and a Color Lab in 2013.

Thus, a small business that started in Rawalpindi has continued to grow and reach greater heights ever since adapting to the newer technological advancements in the field.
